"Favorites tab" on IE8

When using IE 6 in "full screen mode" (F11), all I had to do to pull up my favorites tab was to put my cursor all the way to the left of the screen and the favorites menu would appear.  I would select from the list and then favorites would slide back out
of the way.  How do I do this with IE8?

Right now I have to do an extra step every time I want to access my favorites....go to the top tool bar, open favorites and then select.  I know you can pin favorites, but I don't want to do that because then I don't get a full screen view after I am done selecting
a favorite.

Are you currently using a Windows Vista or Windows XP system? I only ask because you said that you were previously using IE6.
When in the full screen mode in IE8, you will need to move to the top left and then click on the favorite’s button and then choose the link you want to visit.
The favorites bar will not slide out from the left for viewing in this version of IE.

How to Fix "Favorites tab" on IE8 with SmartPCFixer?
